Les Cafés des Réussites (Cafés for Success)
These bring together disabled people, training providers and managers of businesses or associations, for discussions about a topic relating to disability. The aim: to enable everyone to discuss the topic and related subjects, but also to form essential networks for a better understanding of the employment relationship. Hosted by a specialist speaker, they take place all over France during the Week as well as the rest of the year.
Les Porteurs de Parole (Spokespeople)
The Porteurs de Parole scheme enables expression and dialogue. It is set up in public places, where passers-by are approached with various questions, such as: “What is your biggest handicap in life?”
To provide a strong symbol of their commitment to the cause and raise awareness of the issues at stake among as many people as possible, the people who are the lifeblood of LADAPT (members, volunteers, sympathisers, employees, disabled people, etc.) take action to create Tifos, choreographed displays in the Week’s colours.
La Tête de l'emploi TV show
“La Tête de l'emploi” is a series of short episodes lasting 1’30, made up of testimonials from people with disabilities at their place of work. Each episode presents a profile in which employees and recruiters express themselves without reserve, fully immersed in their workplace.
For the 4th year in a row, catch an episode at 7.20 pm (after the 19/20 local news) every evening during the European Disability Employment Week, on France 3’s regional channels.
“La Tête de l’emploi”, a TV show co-produced by LADAPT in partnership with France 3 Nord-Ouest and Crédit Agricole, lets employees with disabilities have their say. The testimonials by Alexandre, Romain, Sylvie, Jean-Christophe, Patrick and Diane prove that the path into recruitment is possible, although it hasn’t always been easy.
